The good news: make better espresso than the Italians
Making excellent espresso is a lot easier to do if you have the proper tools. All you need is an espresso machine using a commercial-style, non-pressurized portafilter, a quality burr grinder like the Rancilio Rocky and freshly roasted espresso blend (in whole bean, such as our Bean North), roasted to a darkness known as Northern Italian (or medium-dark) to use in that burr grinder. With practice and understanding of the following, creating espresso better than most Italian caffes actually becomes quite easy to do:
-brew water temperature
-bean freshness
-milk texturing techniques
-pulling espresso shots
